Thiruvananthapuram: The state police has warned that cyber fraud gangs are targeting the bank accounts of young women and girls. According to the police, it has been noticed that people, including students, who are looking for part-time jobs and online jobs through social media are falling into the web of such new cyber fraud gangs.

The method of this fraud group is to provide jobs to those who have their own bank account and Google Pay account. Then the money reached their bank account. This will be money received as transfer from many places. The job is to take a fixed amount of commission when the amount exceeds one lakh rupees and then send the remaining amount to the account required by the fraudsters. Scammers offer high commission.

Scammers aim to use Young men and women who are not aware of such crimes are unknowingly becoming members of fraud gangs.

The police have advised the parents, teachers and the general public to be very careful to avoid falling into the net of such cyber scams.
